ACP Knowledge Series Presents Jeff Rosenheim
Friday, Oct. 22nd at Emory, 7pm

Jeff L. Rosenheim is Curator in the Department of Photographs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he has worked for twenty-two years. The author of many books on Walker Evans, he acquired the artist's complete archive of negatives, papers, and collections for the Metropolitan in 1994. In 2007 Rosenheim brought to the museum the archive of Diane Arbus and is currently at work cataloguing the vast collection.

On Friday night at Emory, Rosenheim will discuss the history of the Metropolitan's collection of photographs, the value of artist's archives, and what he believes is the evolving role of the camera in American society.
