The FENCE

In 2019, The FENCE arrived on the Atlanta BeltLine Westside trail at the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive overpass, where it will remain installed through June 2020. Here’s a map of the location!

In 2018, ACP brought THE FENCE project back to Atlanta for a 5th-time partnership between ACP, United Photo Industries (of NY) and the Atlanta BeltLine. THE FENCE 2018 is an outdoor exhibition of images juried from an international call for entries. This year the THE FENCE was exhibited in eight locations: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn, NY; SoWa Boston, Boston, MA; Santa Fe Railyard Park, Santa Fe, NM; City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC; Denver, CO; Peace Bridge through West Eu Claire Park, Calagary, Canada; Nathan Benderson Park, Sarasota, FL, and at the Piedmont Park Dog Park in Atlanta, where there was a 700-foot long installation!

Also, in 2016 & 2017, a Georgia-artists version of THE FENCE premiered across the state, in Savannah, Gainesville, Columbus & Thomasville, and on the Atlanta Beltline’s Westside Trail. Participating artists selected from a state-wide call for entries included Casey Brown, Blake Burton, Fernando Decillis, Andrew Feiler, Nick Gruenberg, Patrick Heagney, Kelly Kline, Paige McFall, Dorothy O’Connor & Michael Reese. This 250-foot long exhibition traveled across the state promoting the work of Georgia’s outstanding photographic talent. This exhibition was made possible through partnerships with Columbus State University and Uptown Columbus; Thomasville Center for the Arts; Art Rise Savannah; and The Arts Council of Gainesville.
